My Baby Today 2.2.1

My Baby Today will help new parents with advice and information
New parents need all the advice they can get to get through the various bumps in the road when their baby comes into the world. Asking other parents and friends, as well as doctors can be quite useful, but having some information on hand for those middle-of-the-night panic attacks sure is useful.

My Baby Today is an app from BabyCentre that seeks to offer you support and advice for every day in the life of your baby.

Much-needed help

Not only will you be able to go through a series of daily data, but also set up reminders to perform various tasks, such as to trim the baby’s nails, and tracking his or her activities. When you’re done with one specific task, you can just add a checkmark to it and it will move to the other folder, allowing you to focus on the things you are still to do.

The app looks a lot like the other BabyCentre apps, including the one helping women throughout their pregnancies, where there’s daily information to help them get through various stages. The data is presented chronologically and there are a lot of answers to questions new parents have about whether something or another is normal, which is more difficult to figure out since all children are different.

On top of all this information that should be quite helpful, especially when you’re just learning what to do and how to take care of your baby, there’s also another quite useful feature that gives parents to lullabies. Since singing to babies isn’t something that all mothers do since there are many out there who couldn’t carry a tune if their life depended on it, this is mighty useful.

The lullabies you need

There’s only a handful of these there, including Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Brahms’ lullaby and a Rock-a-bye baby. These can be set on shuffle, or you can just put one of them on repeat for 20, 40 or 60 minutes.

My Baby Today further lets you add in data about your baby, including pictures, his or her name, the date and time of birth, gender, weight and height.
For even more support, there’s the Birth Club forums, where other users will post various questions and things they are going through to get opinions from other users. This should help new parents get more insight into how often other people’s children do various things and just how common that particular thing is.
