Freeletics 2.5

Freeletics wants to help you become healthier and fitter
Getting or staying into shape is a goal that most people have, along with becoming healthier. Getting the motivation to get things done, however, is another business altogether, especially since it’s difficult to find the time to dedicate to exercising properly.

Freeletics is an app that seeks to help you out with such issues, giving you access to exercises, training sessions and even coaches to get you through it all, although the latter comes at a price.

Start training

As you launch the app, it will take you through a series of instructions, letting you know just how it plans to get you into tip top shape and how it wants to motivate you. Once you’ve gone through it all, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to get started on the training or spend some time getting accommodated to the community element of the app.

If you choose the training, you’ll get to see all the videos involved in the session, showing you how to do the exercises properly. Make sure you’re connected to a WiFi spot, however, since this involves downloading the videos which will weight down on your monthly bill if the data plan isn’t unlimited. The app tracks your progress as you move from one exercise to the next. Accompanying music is a possibility, so you can enjoy that side of the app while training.

Get coached

The coach element of the app comes with many advantages, although you’ll be paying quite a few bucks. For instance, it costs €34,99 for three months or €79,99 for a full year. You’ll be able to tell the app what your focus is, how tall you are and how much you weight. Further customization allow you to tell the app just how active you are on a daily basis, if you’ve accustomed to doing sports and what you’re experienced in. This, along with all other information you’ll have to fill in, will help deliver a personalized training schedule for you.

Basically, the app can help replace the need to go to the gym, although it’s pretty important that you have some of the tools to help out through this, such as a bar to do pull-ups on. Freeletics is an advanced trainer that you’ll end up loving. Using it will hopefully get you motivated enough to not quit before you’ve reached your goals.
