Instead of searching for it and wasting time, Try SoundHound. It's a neat song recognition app that will identify songs in seconds and then play them for you. But it also comes with many more features.

Clean GUI that packs many features

One great thing about SoundHound is its clean and uncomplicated user-interface, packed with many features and tools, however it doesn't seem cluttered, making it easy to navigate within the app. In order to identify a song, you need to launch SoundHound and place it close to your TV or radio, as to eliminate any audio interference.

Within seconds the app will identify the song, providing you with information on the artist, title, links to YouTube videos and album reviews. You can also look up lyrics or buy the song on Amazon. In addition, you can share the track or tap on the start to listen to it later.

The great thing about SoundHound is that it also comes with many more features, not just song recognition. There's also a section with upcoming festivals and charts of top artists, that you can listen to from within the app. In addition, you can use the map to view what songs were searched near you and filter them by genre.

SoundHound comes with ads, but they can be removed for 5.99$ if you upgrade and unlock many other nice features like a home screen widget so you don't have to launch the app to identify a song and livelyrics, that move as the song plays.
