Well, if your answer was “a lot” then you’re probably quite familiar with Polyvore, the platform that allows you to daydream and put your imagination to work by creating combinations that work best for you.
The Polyvore iOS app is a tool that will help you check out products, visit favorite designers and create unique looks that you can share with friends.
As you start off, the tool will require that you signal several styles that you like so it can better assess your style and provide pictures of things you’ll actually like. Aside from your feed, you can browse for content. You can check out some of the latest trends, or move on to top pics.
It’s also possible to check out categories, such as clothing, dresses, bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, home d�cor and furniture, to name just a few.
The best part of the app, however, is getting to create a collage. You can pick out the items you want to add from a long list of categories. You can even filter the results to show various price ranges, certain types of clothing from that category, such as mini, knee length and long skirts, brands, colors and so on.
If you want, you can even add some furniture to put to the background before moving on to what Polyvore calls “embellishments.” For instance, you may add in people and prints, backgrounds, frames and borders, text, magazine articles, effects and textures, patterns and overlays.
In the end, you can publish the collage, save as draft and share it with the world.
The “me” tab shows how many followers you have, how many views and likes you’ve received. You can also access the list of items you’ve liked, as well as any sets and collections you’ve hit the “heart” button for.
Furthermore, from the same area, it’s possible to visit the sets and collections you’ve put together, as well as people that follow your profile and the profiles you follow in turn.The settings area is also accessible from the same place. The account settings enables you to choose what kind of activity to highlight and when the app should send you emails.
