CPlus for Craigslist 1.0.8
CPlus for Craigslist is an app that was officially licensed by Craigslist, delivering content for iPhones. First thing that you’ll notice is the impressive design upgrade, or more specifically just how different the app looks from the barebones site.
Better looking than the original
Upon launching, CPlus for Craigslist will use your GPS to figure out where you are and what content you might be interested in based on the location, presenting you several nearby cities or countries. The app then reveals its intuitive interface, holding all the content you may need housed under cool-looking categories.
There are eight of those available – community, personals, housing, for sale, services, jobs, gigs and resumes. Depending on what you need, you can pick the one you need and go searching through the ads. You can go through them all, scrolling the entire list, making sure nothing escapes your view.
It’s possible to have the ads displayed as thumbnails, with a title and description, see them as a gallery, with pictures arranged in a grid or pick the “photo row” option which will show them all with large images in a card-like manner.
Alternatively, you can also run a search where you pick the category, choose the sorting preference (most recent, best match, low price, high price), choose to only see the title and not part of the description in the main screen, set a price range and to only look at ads that have pictures attached.
More features
The side menu hides a few buttons, allowing users to check out their favorites ads, saved searches or accounts. The settings area only has two options – whether or not to show personals and how many items to be loaded one each page, with the maximum number being 50.
If you want to post ads to Craigslist, that’s also possible, but you’ll need to log in with an account to make that happen. The entire thing is pretty easy to figure out and you need to fill in all the fields.
