There’s not a very big difference between Etsy in a browser and the Etsy mobile apps, in fact, not when it comes to usability.
The iOS app is just as artsy as Etsy. It is extremely easy on the eyes and it moves lightning fast, which is always a bonus with this type of apps when you have to load what feels like a gazillion pictures. Not only are there are a lot of these, but they’re also really large and crisp, allowing you to see the items you may end up buying in their full glory.
Simple goes a long way
You can check out categories that you’re interested in, browse for the next best thing in the many categories available on Etsy, varying from Art, Jewelry, Craft Supplies, clothes and so on. Each of these comes with many subcategories for even better filtering, so that should help too. Searching for items is also possible if you know you’re looking for something specific, like items inspired by your favorite show, for instance. (I’ll have that Castiel pillow for Christmas, thank you!)
You can purchase any of these items in a few simple steps, making for a rather pleasant and easy transaction process. Just make sure to check out the reviews for the items and the sellers to make sure you’re getting what you’re paying for.
When you encounter items that you like you can “heart” them or add them to one of your lists, whether you want to purchase them later or just take inspiration in them in whatever your craft is.
Another app if you're a seller
One thing that misses from Etsy is the fact that if you’re a seller you have to install a different app and handle things off from there since this one is dedicated to browsing and buying other people’s crafts. So if you’re one of the many creating handmade products and coming up with cool products, you should probably look into downloading Sell on Etsy.
