Google Play Store offers a whole array of browsers that you can try, some filled with all sorts of features while others are more simplistic but load pages faster. Web Browser & Explorer is a mediocre browser with the advantage of being easy-to-use and lightweight.
Simplistic interface with some features at hand
Web Browser & Explorer has got to be the most simplistic browser we've ever come across. It doesn't have all the neat features that other similar apps do, but it does the job and sports a lightweight interface.
The browser only comes with a set of instructions and tips on how to use gestures to move around in the app, but there's no tutorial or videos. It only comes with one light theme, there's no option of switching to a dark theme in case you're browsing when the lights are dim. Still, the app comes with many settings neatly hidden under the 'hamburger' icon on the top right corner of the screen.
Browse the internet easily and fast
The neat thing about this app is its lightweight interface that makes it easy to open pages fast and manage multiple tabs on top of the screen. You can open as many as you like and have the app reload them when you relaunch it.
Still, keep in mind that the number of tabs that you open simultaneously affects the way in which the browser behaves and it will open pages slower. The app also comes with the option of enabling incognito mode and thus avoiding it from recording a history of pages you've visited. In addition, you can use the browser in full screen mode or change the search engine if you wish.
Tweak settings to meet your preferences
Text size can be changed and that's about all the settings that you can do to the interface. In addition, you can have the app save passwords or clear cache upon exit, but there's no option of blocking ads or installing plugins.
Moreover, the homepage cannot be changed and you can't add shortcuts to your favorite websites or pages. The app also lets you add bookmarks, but you can't import them from other browsers on your phone.
