Intuitive GUI with many features
Google Chrome has made a name for itself because of its many features packed in an easy-to-use interface. Every tool that has made the desktop version popular is also available for your mobile phone, including voice search.
Obviously, the app is add-free and all its settings are neatly packed under one icon, leaving plenty of room for displaying web pages. The app is extremely volatile and comes with the option of bookmarking or sharing pages.
Multiple pages neatly packed into several tabs
The app uses tabs to display pages you've visited and haven't closed, making it easy for you to browse through multiple websites. You also have the option of finding certain words in a page and Chrome can be set to translate websites and text into various languages.
However, the next page icon is hidden with other settings, making the user tap on two icons before a page is loaded. There's also a history section for viewing your browsing activity and the homescreen displays the most visited pages. In addition, you simply need to pull down to refresh websites making it easier to use the app. You can get the latest updates from sites with notifications.
Incognito mode for browsing anonymously
Chrome app for Android comes with the option of browsing the internet anonymously, excluding websites from your history report. In addition, whenever you are redirected to another page while in the incognito mode, Chrome displays a message.
You can set the app to save passwords for various websites and to provide autofill forms, however when it comes to synchronization with other devices, Chrome requests you sign in to get your bookmarks and other settings. Moreover, the app doesn't come with the option of saving pages for offline reading.
