Productivity Browser: Tangram 0.9.2
Productivity Browser Tangram is a new browser that has a very unusual and fluent interface, with lots of tools at hand. However, users may need a while before they can get fully adjusted with the app and its features.
Sleek UI with tons of tools
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or a presentation of its features, which is quite inconvenient since you won't be able to get an overview of its tools. Still, it's filled with all sort of onscreen instructions and tips.
It has material design and all you need to do in order to access sections is to swipe the screen right or left. The app doesn't use tabs, bookmarks or any other essential tools that other browsers have.
The first thing that you need to do when launching the app is to provide it with your email address for updates, but it won't let you sync information with a desktop version.
Browse the internet in style
All you need to do is to tap on the icon and type in the keywords in order to search. The app uses Google as a search engine, but it doesn't have the option to change it. In fact, it lacks a settings menu, which means you won't be able to make any changes to the app's UI of its functions.
In order to save a page, simply swipe the screen from left to right. Swipe again and the page will be added in a stack, if you want to arrange bookmarks and save them in separate folders, you'll need to swipe again.
More features and tools
It has a feature that allows users to find keywords inside pages and one for saving images to your device. You can also snap screenshots but there's no way of saving pages for offline reading.
Web pages can be shared with friends and there's a separate icon for requesting access to the desktop version. Although, it's a new way of browsing the internet the app lacks some essential features, like security tools for surfing protected and an incognito mode. It also doesn't have a night view, which would have been nice if the UI is quite bright.
