With this utility you can easily find the dictionary you need and since it is compatible with the StarDict format you can even load the files form the SD card or from cloud folders, as OneDrive and Dropbox are supported natively by the app.

By double tapping the desired resources from the online repository you will trigger the transfer and installation of the respective dictionary, which you can later on manage from the dedicated section.

There are numerous lexicons and other type of references ready for you to try and the support for a wide variety of languages is a big advantage.

The order of the installed dictionaries can be changed manually, as they come by default in alphabetical order, while deactivating or re-enabling them takes a single tap.

The smart search of SilverDict offers you suggestions as you type and the query is carried out using all the dictionaries stored inside the app, so you have everything easy to access from each resource's dedicated module.

Pin articles and manage favorites

This utility will make it possible for you to mark entries from any dictionary and have them included in the "Favorites" area for quick access. Removing these items cannot be done individually, as there is only the option of clearing the entire list.

Another advantage of SilverDict is the ability to send to the Start screen any word definition or other type of content you want to keep close at hand, by means of the "Pin article" option you will find in the main menu.
