The application allows you to quickly select the two languages you want to use for the translation job and there is even a button in the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen that allows you to pin to the Start screen any pair of languages.

Modern Translate supports not only the classical virtual keyboard input method, but it is also able to turn your speech into text and have it ready for the interlingual rendition.

Also, using the phone camera you can take a snapshot and have the content translated or you can simply choose any image stored inside your photo albums. This method is probably the least accurate as the text have to be very clear and perfectly aligned for a flawless translation

A neat feature of this utility is the ability to support handwriting so, when in the special "Write" mode, you can use the app as a classical pen and paper means of writing down words and phrases you want to add to the translation queue. The suggestions it offers are most useful in making the correct selection.

Save favorite translations and share texts on the go

With this utility you can review the history of completed translations right from the main screen and by swiping to the left or to the right switch to the favorites section where you will have all the translations you marked as such.

In case you want to send out the original and translated text or only one of these, the app supports several sharing methods, so you can have the content included in an email or SMS message and even shared via social networks you subscribed to.
