Things 2.6.3
Not only is Things an extremely easy to use app, but it’s also extremely well seen in the community. For instance, the app has won the Macworld UK award for best iPhone Business & Utility app. The app was also selected to be Free App of the Week for Thanksgiving 2014 and is available for free before November 28.
Pristine interface
The app has an extremely simple and clean interface, allowing you to focus on the things that you need to accomplish rather than a complicated design that will derail your attention to various areas.
For instance, you can create a full list of things that you need to accomplish and give yourself a deadline. All you have to do is full in a title, add in a note if necessary, a few tags for easier locating at a later time and a due date. You may also choose a folder in which to deposit the new entry.
In the Today tab, you’ll find all tasks that you have to complete by the end of the day, be them to remember to buy juice, take the kids from school or deliver an important report to your boss. The items that are due will wear a red note alongside and there’s even a red bubble with the number of due tasks enclosed inside on the front page of the app.
The tasks can be put under various categories, such as Work, Family, Hobby, making it easy to keep things organized.
Nifty extension for iOS 8
iOS 8 users will even be able to take advantage of the “Add to Things” extension that enables you to add things on the list from other apps, such as Safari and Notes. To enable the feature all you have to do is tap the Share button in the app, tap “More” and turn on the switch for “Add to Things.”
There's also the Today Widget in the Notification Center which gives you access to your day's to-do list. All in all, this is a light app that will make your life easier from the moment you install it on your phone. The spacey interface will make it easier to make notes of the things that are important to you and to set reminders to complete them.
