Reuters 2.3.2

Reuters delivers the latest news about things happening in the world
When it comes to news reporting there are agencies out there that have managed to create a name for themselves, to gain people’s trust and to generally become some of the most reliable sources in the world.

Reuters, founded back in October 1851, is one of those news sources most TV stations, newspapers, magazines and news sites rely on every given day.
The world-renowned international news agency is accessible over the Internet for anyone to read and, on top of that, it has also launched mobile apps to help out those who want to stay informed on the go.

Reuters goes mobile

The Reuters iOS app is exactly how you’d expect – it has a crisp design, it’s intuitive and easy to use. You can read up on the latest news straight from the app’s main page and you can go into depth by looking over the various categories that you might find interesting.

These are accessible by tapping the hamburger button at the top left corner. There’s a large collection for you to choose from, including world news, business, markets, technology, sports, entertainment and even opinion pieces. Each of these categories comes with a top news which is marked with a large picture at the top of the page. The rest of the news follow below in chronological order.

As you read the articles from Reuters, you’ll notice the layout is always the same. The headline is at the very top of the page, followed by when the news was last updated, a picture and the actual news body. If the articles contain link then those will be available to check too.

Share and save

You can share the articles with the world via SMS, email, Twitter or Facebook, but you can also tap the “Save” button. This will add the article to the list of things you’ll be able to read at a later time, even when offline.

Talking of the offline mode, you can have the news pre-load, but also to have this done only over WiFi to reduce data usage. It’s also possible to adjust the text size for easier reading and to pick which Reuters edition you want to read.

All in all this is a great app that will deliver the latest news straight to your phone.
