Pregnancy + 3.2

Daily pregnancy info and tips, scans, personal log, diets, kick counter, baby names, and more
When you become pregnant you want to learn as much as possible about what’s going on with your growing baby and the changes your body is going to go through. Reading books and searching the Internet is of course, advisable, although you’d perhaps want to talk to your doctor most. That doesn’t mean, however, that you’ll want to pester the poor doc with a million question.

For those little things, there are plenty of pregnancy apps to pick for your phone, which will give you some important answers in the blink of an eye. Pregnancy+ is one of those app that tries to be as informative as possible.

Sync your data if you want

As you start off, the app will give the opportunity to sign up so you can sync your data between devices and back up all the information to the cloud so, in case anything happens to your device, you can still get your hands on the data and restore all the info. Of course, this step can be skipped and you can always return to it later.

You are then asked to personalize the app, telling it whether you’re the future mother or father of the baby, if you know the baby’s gender and the estimated due date. You’ll also have to device whether you want to get notifications and if you want to use the metric or the imperial measuring systems.

The app will then customize the data for you and give you plenty of information regarding your current pregnancy stage, including a blog about your pregnancy week, due date, ultrasound images of how babies look at this stage and how big the little munchkin is at this point. There’s even a size guide, comparing the baby’s size to various fruit.

Log in data

The tool also allows you to log in various other data, such as you weight, so you can track your monthly weight gain by imputing your starting numbers and your current ones.

Pregnancy+ further gives you access to baby names and lets you set up some important phone numbers, appointments and various tasks you may want to complete.

Some of the information is blocked by a paywall as the app lets you know you’ll have to pay €3,59 to get access to information about all 42 weeks, the birth plan, hospital bag, kick counter and contraction timer. Without payment, you’re basically stuck with the data corresponding to a pregnancy of 14 weeks.
