WebMD Pregnancy 1.2.1

Get all the data you need about your pregnancy with this WebMD app
When you’re expecting a child you want all the information you can get in order to make sure that you’re both developing at the perfect rate and that things are advancing as they should. While each pregnancy is different, there are plenty of things that coincide for all women and those are the ones that each mom-to-be wants to read about when they wonder whether something or another is “normal.”

WebMD has become one of the most famous medical sites out there, providing plenty of information for those looking for it. The WebMD Pregnancy is just an extent of the site, dedicated to expectant moms.

Sign in with WebMD

As you launch the app, you can sign in or sign up for a new account. You’ll then be asked to provide data about your pregnancy such as the estimated due date, which will help the app adjust the data to fit your current stage.

The app’s interface is pretty simple and straightforward. The homepage provides some data about your baby’s development, as well as other tips about the current phase in your life.

The side menu holds most of the information, however. In the Pregnancy 101 section  you can find a lot of information about your baby’s development, as well as your own, facts about nutrition, exercise labor and delivery, health and safety, prenatal tests and so on. There’s even a pregnancy glossary in there to help you out.

You can create lists in the app, with things to ask your doctor or things you’ll need when the baby comes along. There’s also the possibility to store articles to read for later, which you’ll also find in there.

Extra tools

The app comes with some additional tools to keep track of your doctor appointments, changes to your body, such as your weight and blood pressure, as well as a symptom tracker, a contraction timer and a kick counter.

If you want to keep a pregnancy journal you can do that from the app , and you may even keep track of your growing belly by taking photos and attaching them to a journal.

The Settings area enables you to edit your profile, to create baby profile and to fiddle with details such as notifications and others.

Overall, this is a great app and it’s extremely informative. Aside from helping you track your pregnancy it also provides extensive information on a lot of topics that might concern a future mom, which is great.
