Although it’s still in its teenage years, Bershka is a company that has built a name for itself, a company that has managed to grow famous in many countries around the world. After all, it’s closing in on 1,000 stores in over 64 countries, so it’s bound to be doing something right if it can financially support so many locations.

The brand is part of the Spanish textile giant Inditex, which also owns the likes of Zara, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius and so on.

Shop on the go

Something that the company also has, much like many other clothing brands out there, is a mobile app which helps users check for the latest editions, see what sizes shops are carrying and even make purchases on the go, even though this latter feature isn’t available on all markets.

The Berskha app is easy to use and it focuses on the products it wants you to buy. The main page is divided into item categories – clothing for women, men and girls, accessories, and shoes. Each of these sections come with a lot of subcategories so you’ll find it easier to scan through them all and find what you’re looking for.

Once you find something that catches your eye, all you’ll need to do is tap on the item and check out the pictures. Swiping will get you from one to the other, while the “i” button on the picture’s corner reveals more data about the item, including the material it’s made of, care instructions and details about returning the product. There’s also a size guide and a way to check if the product is available in a store near you.

When you want to add it to the shopping cart, it’s possible to pick the size. The color remains the one you were checking out before tapping the “Add” button.

Find what you need

The app comes with some additional features. For instance, you can give it access to your phone’s location and let it check for nearby stores. It can also access your camera to scan for a bar code or a QR code.

Whether you want to just make a list of items that have caught your eye and go try them out in the store or take a gamble and order online is up to you. Either way, you can do both with this app. It is, however, quite nice that you can order clothes on the go, with very little effort.
