myMail
But there are many alternatives available out there, one of which is myMail. It lets users log into multiple accounts, easily delete junk mail and compose emails.
Sleek and clean interface
Users that have gotten tired of complicated interfaces, need their email service to have a clean UI with many features arranged into a well-structured layout. It has some instructions and tips, but a tutorial would have been quite welcomed, especially by new users.
But although myMail's interface is really nice, it doesn't come with additional themes or the option to make any changes to the GUI which is quite a let-down since people often get bored with the interface of email services, since they use them multiple times a day.
Sign in to multiple accounts and manage your emails
The app lets you sign in to multiple email accounts like Yahoo, Google, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Exchange, my.com or other. Accounts appear in the form of icons in the side menu, but they should be more differentiated.
The side menu also offers access to all sort of sections inside the app like the inbox, sent items, drafts, spam, trash, unread or flagged emails. However, the app doesn't open conversations that you've had on your account.
The app loads emails faster than some of the other mail applications that we've tested but at time sit doesn't work at all. It has a search bar but it doesn't let you filter results by sender or text body. Still, you can compose emails easy by simply tapping on an icon.
Tweak settings to meet your preferences
The app works flawlessly, but it's missing some essential features, like conversations and additional themes. Still, you can manage notifications that the app displays, add folders in the side menu, manage filters or enhance security features, by terminating all sessions on a certain account.
Other than that, you can manage storage and clean cache to release memory on your device. The app also lets you transfer contacts to your device's address book and prompt a message before deleting emails. Still, you have the option of managing the avatar for your email accounts, together with the username displayed inside the app.
