MailDroid 4.05

Replace your default email app with a more complex one called MailDroid
Default email applications sometimes come with a clogged interface filled with all sorts of shortcuts to features and tools that you may use inside the app. But there are some alternatives if you're looking for applications that rearrange your emails and help organize them into folders and categories if possible.

One of such applications is MailDroid. It's a bit technical but it will provide you with all the features that you need including some customization tools.

Sleek interface with additional themes

As expected the app needs some setting up before you an actually use it. It lets you access almost any email service, but not all of them work and some need manual configuration.

Still, you can import settings from your phone and configure accounts fast. Multiple accounts can be added, so you can bring all of your emails into one place without shifting through many applications just to read your emails.

The interface is really sleek and lightweight, a side menu lets you manage accounts and you can make some changes to the interface. Users may change the color theme and pick another color for it. You can also adjust the font size, pick a divider for emails and even choose another language for the app if you like.

Manage your emails

The app makes it easy to manage all emails that you receive under multiple accounts. Emails are divided based on the day they were received. You can decide how many emails the app loads, a search bar lets you find certain messages and you can even sort them by subject, attachments, read/unread and date.

You can even compose emails and attach files to them, the app will send them instantly. The shift between accounts is done instantly and the app also lets you manage notifications for when you receive an email under a certain account.

Enhanced security and encryption

The app uses encryption to read all emails that you've received and you can even make changes to that, by specifying the signing key or the crypto mode. Other than that, you can set up your own password to lock the app and protect usernames and passwords of email accounts.

It also comes with a spam filter plugin which you can buy for 0.89$ per month or 5.88$ per year. Some advanced settings may also be done to the app, it gives you the option to manage mail rules and disable the SSL certificates check if you wish.
