Intuitive but dark UI
While it's quite obvious that the purpose of this app is to provide fast and updated information on matches and teams, the UI could have been more appealing. The dark background look professional, but doesn't match the app's icon and there are no extra themes to choose from.
Still, it's very well structured and makes it easy to find information fast, as all championships are neatly arranged in the menu, at the left side of the screen. However, the settings menu is ill-fitted as text seems to overlap.
Check scores and stats on your favorite team
The app allows you to select your favorite teams out of a long list of championships and leagues. At the same time, you can adjust notifications and alerts that you may receive regarding said team. The app may let you know 3 hours before your favorite team starts a match, the score during half time or the final result of the match.
There are numerous championships and sports to choose from, including basketball, tennis, football and soccer. The menu consists of a whole list of local and international leagues, which you can edit. There's also a section with your favorite teams, so you'd have quick access to their profile.
Get breaking news
If you need to stay on top of the news, Yahoo Sports can help you do that. It can be set to deliver you all the breaking news on a certain team or championship, together with the latest news on the sports industry and scores from all sorts of championships.
You can share all the information from the app on social networks and set alerts for various notifications. The app is completely free of charge, so you don't have to worry about making payments in order to view scores from major soccer leagues and more.
