FIFA 3.1.332

Check out live scores and rankings with FIFA’s official app for Android
If you’re a fan of soccer than you’ve surely heard of FIFA, the International Federation of Association Football. FIFA organizes all major football championships, including beach soccer and futsal.

Now the Federation launched its very own Android app to keep fans informed on the latest developments and team rankings around the world.

Sleek interface packed with information

The app’s interface is truly impressive and might actually be the sleekest UI we’ve seen so far for a sports application. It comes in multiple languages, making it accessible to fans worldwide and has a tutorial which presents all the neat things you can do in the app.

Users may register online with an account or use their Facebook profile, but the app has some trouble with that and the process might cause it to crash. Still, the side menu provides quick access to all sections and features and you can access it from any page in the app.

Check out the latest news and live scores

The app is packed with all the latest news from the soccer world. Scroll down through articles, but there’s no option of filtering them by leagues or teams. Still, you can choose your favorite team and check out the latest matches they’ve played, together with rankings in various cups.

Tap on articles to read, enlarge text, share with friends or add a comment, but you’ll have to be logged in to do that. You can also check out live scores of the latest and ongoing matches, between various teams in multiple cups.

FIFA rankings

Check out updated FIFA rankings with all the latest charts of teams in men’s and women’s leagues. The app mentions the date of the latest update, together with the day in which a new issue will be released. The explore section is filled with videos of all FIFA activities, including charity.

All in all, the app offers everything you need to know about FIFA championships and your favorite team. But the app crashes a lot and has many stability issues. Still, you can use it to read articles, watch photos and videos and check out rankings to see how teams are doing and which will be the next FIFA champion of the world.

Bottom Line
Design / UI10

The interface is truly astonishing with a sleek design and great layout that makes it easy to navigate and share content.

Function6

With all its features and tools, the app clearly has some stability issues and a tendency to crash in almost all sections, except for news.

Security8

Online registration is required, but the app doesn’t need many permissions from your phone and it doesn’t pose any privacy issues.

Battery8

Consumption is normal, the app doesn't have the potential of draining your battery unless you only use it to watch videos.

Price10

Completely free of charge, no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever.Still, the app advertises other applications created by partner developers.

Compatibility8

It should work just fine on devices running Android 4.0 or later making it inaccessible to some users.

Editor's Review
VERY GOOD

If it weren’t for stability issues, this would be a great sports app.
