It's important to stay informed about local and world events at all times and when you're using an Android smartphone, this can be easy to achieve. Fox News is one of the most popular apps on the market and provides users with professionally written reports and articles by journalists at one of the top TV stations in the United States. It covers a whole array of topics from business to entertainment and world events.

Sleek interface with many features at hand

Fox News app makes it easy to read articles mainly due to its intuitive and lightweight interface. You have a menu on the left for quick access to all sections and categories, together with a search bar on top to make it easy and fast to find articles on topics that interest you the most.

No online registration is needed and the app doesn't provide you with instructions, but you wouldn't need them anyway. Some settings can be made, you can have the app provide you with alerts for breaking news or whenever an articles is added to a category you're following.

Browse through articles seamlessly

The main page features trending articles from all sections, simply scroll down to view more. It features banner ads on the bottom, but they're mainly for Fox shows or other apps by the developer. Tap on an article to read and you can even change the font of the text.

There are also the option of sharing articles on social networks or saving them for later. Saved articles can be read offline, the same goes with saved videos. You can access reports on various topics from the side menu, each of them has several subcategories that you can choose from. Popular categories include entertainment, science and tech.

Watch shows and live TV

Fox News app also provides you with access to recorded shows at the channel. There's a description of the show and you can connect with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see the show's profile. There's a calendar on the top of the screen with the schedule for the upcoming week.

However, some videos don't stream and cause the app to crash. Live TV is also available, watch Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network, but you'll need to log in to you cable, satellite or telco provider and the app provides a whole list of options.
