Veooz: Latest & Personal News 1.20
Fortunately, Google Play Store is filled with all sort of news readers that you can check out, one of them is Veooz. It's a cool app, but it needs some more work and features, to make it stand out on the market.
Intuitive and beautiful interface
The app launches with a tutorial in the form of a presentation of all of its features, it's especially useful for people who launched the app for the first time. It tells you all the nice tools that you can find inside the app.
It has a side menu on the left for accessing all sort of sections and it comes with a settings menu for adjusting your preferences. The interface is really fluent, but unfortunately it doesn't come with a night mode. Still, you can adjust the font size and make text easier to read.
Browse through all sort of categories
The app requires users to register with an account so that they can manage their feed easier. You can register with your Google, Facebook or Twitter account.
The side menu gives you access to all sort of sections inside the app, like top stories, following, world, news, entertainment, sports, business, lifestyle and more.
You can also filter stories by country or city and make sure you get articles from near your location. The feed can also be personalized with topics that you find the most interesting, pick the ones that you like the most.
Save and share articles
There's the option to share articles on social networks, so that your friends to check them out also. You can save stories and read them offline, without requiring any internet connection.
It comes with a feature that displays all the related articles on the topic and lets you check out videos. There's a separate section with stories that you've saved or that you're following.
You can adjust notifications and the app comes in multiple languages. Unfortunately, it lacks the option of adjusting news providers which is quite inconvenient. All in all, it's a nice and useful app for staying on top of the news but it could use some more tools to make it more appealing to users.
