Musically Fresh 1.0
But they don't provide users with information on the band or at least the year they were founded. Musically Fresh is a nice app filled with interviews of bands and recommendations of songs.
Dated UI that needs an upgrade
It's always nice to come across applications that have a tutorial, since it means that developers took the time to provide users with some sort of guidance when launching a new app. Musically Fresh doesn't come with that, but you wouldn't really need them since it's quite a straightforward app.
It doesn't come with material design, but it does have a side menu that provides users with quick access to its sections. It doesn't require online registration, which is quite nice but you will need internet connection in order to read articles.
Browse through all sort of articles
It launches directly with the latest articles on the home screen and you can scroll down to check out other interesting stories. Tap on one to open, but you'll have to be a bit patient as the app may take a while to load.
Articles are filled with sample songs, pictures and links to websites where you can find official products and buy tracks or albums. You can post a comment, follow the writer on Facebook or Twitter, or check out similar reviews. The app lacks an icon for quickly sharing articles on social networks, which is quite inconvenient.
Some flaws
The app gives you the feel that it's simply the mobile version of the website. It doesn't really have any shortcuts and whenever you try to zoom in on text using gestures, it opens a popup ad.
The side menu provides users with access to all sort of sections, like news, trending articles, reviews, features, interviews and a shop with various items. There's a search bar for finding articles on certain bands, but you'll have to be really patient until content loads.
It lacks a settings menu, which means that you can't make any changes to the app's UI or its functions. It also doesn't have the option to save articles and read them later.
