Daily Mail Online 3.3
Well structured UI with shortcuts to all of its tools
Unlike other apps, Daily Mail Online doesn't open with the news feed page, but with a tutorial filled with instructions of use and tips on getting the most from this app. You don't necessarily need to log into Facebook or Google+ to use the app, but this would unlock some features.
You can set the app to automatically sync content and download articles every 6 hours while the app is closed. There's also the option of setting the app to only use WiFi connection to sync images. In order to prevent your phone from getting clogged with unnecessary information, the app automatically deletes all stored data that is older than 24 hours.
Read articles on all sort of topics
The app requires you to choose a preferred edition from UK, US, Australia and the rest of the world. This helps filter information and articles that you receive in the news feed. Also, you can change the font size and navigation style. The classic style has all sections featured at the bottom of the screen, while the Android style comes with a menu on the left.
Content available offline
Each article comes with a comments section, but you have to be logged in to post. You can vote comments and share them on social networks. In fact all articles can be shared and most of them come with a gallery of photos. Users can also increase font size with the tap of a finger or view reports in the phone's browser.
The app provides users with the option of favoriting channels and thus making them available offline. You can select as many channels as you like and read news even when you don't have an internet connection.

Security7
It needs access to many areas of your phone, including location services, stored accounts and media files. |
