CNET 3.1.3
One of such websites is CNET and it also has an application for Android phones, which you can check out if you're interested in technology and everything that goes with it, including gadgets and the latest software.
Sleek design and plenty of features at hand
The app sports a sleek interface that follows guidelines for Android applications, in the sense that it has a side menu from where you can navigate through sections and it comes with a search bar that lets you find all sort of articles fast.
It doesn't come with a tutorial, but you wouldn't really need one since the UI is quite intuitive and easy-to-use. The app lets users log in to their CNET account and if they don't have one, they can easily create a profile using an email address. There's no option to link social networking accounts, which is quite inconvenient since the registration process wouldn't last so long.
Browse through all sort of articles
The app launches with a list of top articles, the ones that are trending on the website and around the internet. There's another tab in which you can check out the latest stories added to the website.
The side menu gives you access to all the latest news, you can filter them by company like Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. You can also check out articles and reviews on the latest gadgets, like laptops, phones, tablets, cameras and more.
Check out interesting content
The app also comes with a section filled with all sort of slideshows of the latest products and gadgets. You can place all pictures into a grid and share them with friends on social networks. Articles can also be shared and users who log into their account can also comment on them.
CNET app also has a very comprehensive section with HD videos on various topics, but it loads commercials so you'll have to put up with them since there's no way of skipping ads. Other than that, you can skip through editions or check out dedicated sections on world events like the Mobile World Congress.

The interface is really nice with plenty of neat features and sections arranged in the side menu on the left. |
Function9
It doesn't seem to have any stability issues and loads videos quite fast, although that also depends on your internet connection. |
Security8
It needs a lot of permissions from your phone, but they're all connected to its features so you shouldn't really worry about that. |
Battery6
Consumption is quite high, even if you're browsing through videos so keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price9
It's free but videos load commercials and the app is filled with banner ads from CNET. |
Compatibility8
It requires Android version 4.0.3 or later. |
It's a nice app filled with all sort of interesting content from CNET, but it could use some improvements.
