Sleek interface with plenty of settings
One of the great things about Jorte is that it lets you make various changes to the UI. You can change the color of the theme, add images as background, change the font or theme in the app. However, Jorte calendar only comes with one default theme, but offers users the option to purchase more.
Changes can also be made to the display of the calendar and exclude tasks and memos from calendar view. You can also set the icons that would be shown on the toolbar or choose one of the multiple widgets for your home screen.
Change the menu any way you like
In addition to all the changes you can do to the calendar view, there's also the option of changing the menu. You can have the menu display all features of this app, including tasks, diary entries or the calendar.
It can also show you tasks scheduled for the current day and you can easily add events from the menu screen. The toolbar at the bottom of the screen is filled with icons for accessing the calendar, creating a new event, diary entry or task, shopping for new items or making changes to the display.
There are shortcuts to various functions including the search bar and synchronization. However, because of the many tools incorporated in this app, the UI freezes at times.
Sync data with Jorte Cloud
Online registration will get you storage space to sync your data on Jorte Cloud or Evernote. You can also automatically import data from your other calendars to Jorte. In addition, the app comes with a holiday calendar in multiple languages, but they aren't arranged alphabetically.
You can also register events using lunisolar calendar dates. The app also has the option of setting up a password to protect data. A premium account would help remove ads and unlock many more features.
