It seems that out lives are getting increasingly busy, with many things to do on a daily basis. It's no wonder that people take to task manager apps to help them organize their schedule and remember important meetings and tasks that they need to complete.

Such apps provide reminders and tools that you'll need in order to get things done. MarkO is a smart task manager, in the sense that it comes with many more features than other similar applications.

Sleek interface with many features

An intuitive interface is essential for task manager apps, as it provides ease-of-use and a fluent experience for the user. MarkO manages to sport a sleek UI, but before you'll be able to try it out, you'll need to register with an account. It comes with a tutorial.

It doesn't offer you the option of registering with Facebook or Google, so you'll have to use an email address to fill in the form. It lets you import friends from Facebook or your Phonebook. The app takes a while to sync data onto your device, but offers instructions and tips for you to get a better idea of features and to start creating tasks and set reminders.

Create tasks easily

It comes with a side menu that incorporates all sections and features in the app. You can adjust the notification frequency and have the app post reminders regularly or rarely during the day. Creating tasks is easy, simply type in the task and location.

The app will find suggestions of places, view the map to see where they are. Tap save and you're done creating tasks. You can share it with anyone. The next time you'll be near that location, the app will remind you of your task. So say, you need to buy cold medicine, when you pass a pharmacy the app will alert you of the task. Users can also share their tasks via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Slack, BBM, Line, Kakao Talk, etc.

Add users to your network

You also have the option of adding users to your network, so you can create groups with your family and friends. Reserve tasks or share them with the gang. You'll need to verify your phone number in order to do so, but it seems that the verification method doesn't really work.

Even if confirmation SMS were sent together with codes, the app tells you to enter the number again and doesn't provide a section to enter the code. It comes with several more shortcomings, it doesn't use TTS and doesn't let users postpone tasks. The all also lacks widgets.
