It's a nice and intuitive app, with an interesting idea. Users need to set a timer and plant a tree on their phones. If they don't use their device then the tree grows, but if they do it dies. It's a nice way to make sure you stay focused and don't get distracted.
Sleek and intuitive interface with lots of features at hand
The app launches with a tutorial, a presentation of its features that allows users to get an overview of the app's functions and check out all sort of tips. It explains how each of its features works and it lets you adjust some general settings inside the app.
It lacks material design or a side menu with quick access to features, but the interface is really fluent with lots of tools at hand. The app comes with animation and it has a very modern design that makes it easy to navigate through sections inside the app.
Use the app to stay focused
The first thing that you need to do inside the app is to pick the time interval during which you would like the app to run. You can choose from only a couple of minutes to up to 120 minutes or two hours.
Then simply tap on the plant a tree icon for the countdown to begin. It's a great way to stay focused and see your progress. But if you close the app to check out other applications on your phone, the tree will die and you will have to stay all over again.
Get things done
The app lets you make some changes to the app's functions by adjusting settings. The app also displays some motivation messages on your screen, just in case you were thinking about wasting time on your phone.
The app keeps a record of all the trees that you've grown and it lets you create a whole forest. It shows you how many minutes you've been focused and awards you with points. Use the points to unlock interesting features like a tree with some white cute flowers growing in it.
There are some features that you can enable, like silence mode, vibration, notifications, sound effects and have the app keep the screen on. You can also whitelist apps, so you could get notifications from them.
