Nice GUI, a breeze to work with
This utility greets you with a simple and practical interface, where the ease of use is one of the main goals. The decent graphics are consistent all through the app, while moving around the different sections of the utility is carried out fluently.
Each language is easy to identify as the corresponding country flag is shown inside the selector and in the main screen. However, there is a constant nuisance that comes from the advertisement banners shown in the upper side of the screen.
Other than that, a prompt that asks you to rate TranslateR appears from the first run and will pop up each time you launch the application, which can be pretty annoying.
Pick the languages and perform the translations
The whole purpose of this app is to help you get translations as quickly and as accurately as possible and the tool is pretty well prepared for this job. Currently, there are almost 40 languages at your disposal so you can carry out a good deal of interlingual renditions on the go.
When it comes to the input methods supported by this utility, you will only be able to add text content in the generous input box that can receive up to 5 rows in the current view.
The transformation into the output language is done pretty quickly, as the application resorts to an online engine that takes care of the translations. To copy the converted text you can select the entire block or only the portions you need and hit the "Copy" button that appears.
TranslateR makes it possible for you to easily swap the languages by pressing the dedicated button shown in the toolbar that is placed right in the middle of the screen.
In the same place you will find the "Clear" function that enables you to erase the content in both input and output areas with a single tap.
