Private Zone 2.0.0.0

Create a safe storage area for all multimedia files and notes onto your Windows Phone
Many users are looking for a utility that can provide solid protection for all their images, videos and other type of files stored onto their mobile devices.

For Windows Phone users the alternatives are not few in number and one of the applications that aims to provide a more complete scope of security is going by the name of Private Zone.

Well organized front-end with a simple look

The utility brings you a relatively plain GUI where the content is kept very well organized and easy to reach, as each type of file can be placed in its corresponding category for quick retrieval.

The graphics are decent and the navigation inside the various sections of the app is quite smooth at all times, lacking delays or other kind of glitches. There is, nonetheless, a visible nuisance that follows you around, namely the flashing ad banners that appear in most sections of Private Zone.

Create custom containers for your files

This application comes with several default categories in which you can add your images, videos, notes or cards. For the first two kinds of content it is necessary to create albums and this is easily done with a couple of taps.

There is a drawback that you will notice fairly quickly here and it is related to the names of the containers, which cannot contain spaces, so you will have to settle for one word album names in most cases.

Add content on the fly and manage it effortlessly

Private Zone supports receiving input from the local storage, from the attached SD card, from a connected PC or directly from your OneDrive account. You can insert several pictures in the same time or capture some on the spot, while the videos can be also recorded with the phone's camera.

The cards and notes information will have to be entered manually, with voice notes support included and any of the items safely kept inside this utility can be sent to a connected PC with a couple of taps.

Image slideshows, video playback and backup abilities

The app also has some extra features, so after you setup the access password to protect the files, you have the possibility to watch the videos with the built-in player or check out the photos individually or all together, in a slideshow.

For the images there is also a neat cropping utility at your disposal, which you can access from the menu that appears when you tap and keep pressed any image file. Also, as soon as you connect Private Zone with your OneDrive account, you will be able to backup and restore your data on the fly.

For the 15 days trial period all the functions are free to use, but once the evaluation period is done, you will only be able to view the content and no modifications or new additions will be possible.
