If you don’t always know what to cook, then searching the Internet for random recipes may be a good idea. Or perhaps it would be even better if you picked out a mobile app that will give you some suggestions based on your dietary issues.

Yummly is such an app that should help you to some extent or, at the very least, make you even hungrier.

You can connect to the app via Facebook, Google or any other email address you may want. There’s a quick tour that you can go through and find out what the app does before you even get started, so you know what to expect.

As you go through the list of recipes, you can click on the “yum” button in the corner and add it to your favorites list. To make things even cooler, you can add various ingredients to a shopping list to make things easier for you when you go to the store, whether you pick out the ones you’re missing or just adding in the entire list.

When you open a recipe, you’ll find all the ingredients and exactly for how many servings they’ll be enough for. You may also read up on the nutritional value of the mean, divided in calories, fat, sodium and so on.

Lastly, you can read the step by step recipe from the author and learn how to make the meal you’re dying to try, as well as find out how long it’s going to take you.

The recipes can be divided into a few predetermined collections such as “drinks,” “sides,” “breakfasts,” “desserts,” and “dinners” for easier sorting later on.

Diet-friendly

If you have any dietary issues, you can mention them in your account settings and the app will from there on out suggest only things that fit. Overall, this is a pretty cool app that can help you figure out what to try out next. There are some pretty cool recipes inside, which should count for quite a lot.
