Booking a flight is always a drag, but not if you choose Wiz Air. The Hungarian airline offers this handy app for iOS customers that allows them to search for and book flights on the spot, as well as check-in withth their phone and save the boarding pass to Passbook.

Fluent UI

Designed to fit snuggly on iOS 7 (and later) devices, Wizz Air has flat minimalistic graphics and a fluent interface that makes it easy to start from your location and end with a ticket on your iDevice. All you need is the phone with you at the terminal. The UI is very direct and not at all confusing.

Book tickets right from the app

Ticket reservation is very easy with Wizz Air’s iPhone app. You don’t even need to log in to search for available flights. Just enter the time and place of departure and arrival and the app takes care of the rest. You can specify the number of passengers and get an instant quote on the ticket fare, with or without the company’s membership discount. When you’ve decided you want to book a flight, simply create an account (or connect with an existing account) and you’re off.

The app tells you everything about the fare rules, how your luggage will be handled, etc. and even directs you to hotels and car rental partners. With your ticked saved to Passbook, you can plan your entire vacation with just a few taps.

Show your iPhone at the terminal

You can practically plan your whole vacation, from flight reservation to hotel booking and car rental using only this app. The ticket is right there on your iPhone to show it at the terminal.
