Zero hassle
Expedia Hotels & Flights starts off without asking for any of your credentials. You can enter those whenever you feel like, even after selecting your amenities. It only needs those for the checkout process, but there are other benefits as well if you decide to become a member. The app itself is 100% free.
Like a moving sidewalk
The home screen is like two moving sidewalks, or reels (if you will), one featuring hotels, the other featuring major cities with the option to book a flight there. They move in sync, making sure you get a view of the hotels available only for that city.
Tap one and you’re instantly taken to the booking procedure with every option you’d expect as if you were doing this on a desktop computer. It’s pretty incredible how the developer managed to cram so many options inside such a small GUI, yet still make it simple and spaced out.
Photos, suggestions, maps
All of the hotels listed in the app come with high-quality pictures of the rooms and whereabouts, as well as a map that pinpoints the location in the city you’re visiting.
For flight booking, Expedia recommends the departures and arrivals for you, eliminating the hassle of having to enter these details manually. The calendar marker is ideal for getting a bird’s eye view of your trip duration.
Everything that deserves a description or an explanation will have it, it even has directions for some places, and it calculates the taxes and fees for you as you go about your business reviewing other options. It’s a dream come true for avid travelers, and we highly recommend this one for their next trip.
