Tech News Tube 5.3

Read all the latest tech news with the help of a single app
The tech world is always moving, spinning faster and faster every day, with companies bringing more and more innovations as time goes by. To keep track of everything that’s going on, you’ve certainly decided to follow up some news sites and check out what they have to say on various topics and what new information they can bring.

Well, The Tech News Tube is an app that seeks to make things even easier for you by cutting down all the time you’d otherwise spend jumping from site to site. Basically, the app acts as a RSS tool of sorts, focusing on tech news sites alone.

Read all the tech news

The app covers a lot of famous tech sites, including Ars Technica, CNET, Engadget, and so on. The list is pretty long, which means that you’re quite likely to get a comprehensive list of the things happening in the tech world.

If there are any sites that you don’t want to see in your feed anymore you can just go to the settings area, pick the “Content Filter” option and remove any of the sites from the list. These can be added back at any time by simply moving back the slider.

Tech News Tube comes with gesture support. Basically, you can swipe to browse articles and navigate between them. It’s also possible to tap the headline to read the full article, while pulling on the page will refresh the article or the list to expose new content.

More customization options can be found in the Settings area. You can, for instance, adjust the font size, as well to pick a different font type from a predetermined list. The refresh interval can be adjusted too, from anywhere between 5 minutes to 12 hours. “Never” is also an option, which means you’ll have to manually do this every time you want new content.

Share with the world

The content can be shared to an extensive list of services, including Evernote, Facebook, Instapaper, LinkedIn, Pocket, Twitter and Tumblr.

When you read a new article, you’ll be able to see it just like it is on the source site. However, you can also strip it of the site’s formatting and get just the content. Then, you’ll also be able to increase and decrease the font size, adjust the alignment and change the background color should you wish to.
Overall, this is a really nice app that should make tech news lovers quite happy.
