Repix 1.5.8

Repix turns your photos into great-looking designs
Playing around with the way your photographs look is something that anyone can do, without having to be a Photoshop expert. Of course, you won’t be getting the same results, but that’s OK since no one really expects to.

Repix in an app that offers you quite a few tools to play around with, most of which you’ll probably love fiddling with.

So many options

To start things off, there are quite a few filters that you can use. You can pass through them all before deciding which one you want to go with. What’s more, you don’t have to settle for the way the filter looks by default since you can easily adjust its intensity by moving your finger over the picture, left and right.

Then, you can make some more changes to the way the image looks like by modifying the brightness, contrast, saturation, vibrance and color temperature. There’s also the possibility to add a vignette if you desire, since they’re so popular.

Repix further allows users to add borders to the image. Before picking one, you can test out different styles. There’s also the possibility to crop the image to a certain ratio if you so desire.

Then, the last feature and the one you’re going to love the most is the one letting you play around with the image. Arranged as a bunch of markers at the bottom of the screen, you can choose any of them and use your finger to draw on the image.

Magic brushes

For instance, you can add flares, or rain drops, or use one of these other brushes such as Posterize, Silk, Dotter, Edger, Drops, Geome, Charcoal, and so on. There are some additional ones that you can pick, but those are only available for users who are willing to pay. You can, however, check out the brushes in each pack before buying it, although you won’t be doing that on your own photograph, but rather on one provided by the app. Either way, they’re all pretty great and you’ll probably want to buy them in bulk since that also saves you quite a bit of money.

The Master Collection includes not just brushes, but also a few filter packs and a bunch of frames.

All in all, this is a really nice app and it can create some cool-looking pictures. It all depends on what you want the result to look like and how you handle the tools.
