Picturelife 3.1.2
Picturelife is an app that will help you sort through everything, organizing all photos after quickly scanning them. The tool arranges pictures in chronological order by event, marks places on a map, detects faces in pictures and so on.
Enjoy the freebies
For all intents and purposes, Picturelife is a cloud storage tool that offers some level of security for your photographs. The first 8GB of storage space are free for use, but you’ll have to pay a monthly fee for anything beyond that. There are ways, however, to add more space to your account, such as by inviting friends to use the app and getting them to create an account.
The app organizes all the pictures and you can check them out in several manners. The default view is by timeline, which is something you get either way by checking out the Camera Roll, although it does look a lot prettier. There are plenty of alternatives, though, such as checking out pictures by the location they were taken into, or looking at pictures that include faces.
There’s also a way to check out for memories, which means you’ll get to see pictures from the same date, but from previous years. If you don’t have any on your device, you can import from social networks or upload from the computer by using the desktop app.
Screengrabs get a separate tab, while albums are also easily accessible, but you will have to put them together yourself (or import from social media). They can be sorted by album name, number of pictures or the date they were taken, modified or created.
Editing the pictures
To check out any of the images you just have to tap on it. Then, if you want to get more options, you can long-press on it and get to download, delete, select, add to favorite, add to album or share it. There’s also the possibility to edit it – both the image and a caption. The photo editing features are quite extensive. It’s possible to change the orientation, to crop, adjust the brightness, contrast warmth and saturation levels, effects, frames, and so on. You can even add text or hand drawings. There are plenty of options there that you can pretty up all images.
All in all, this is a nice app to have on your phone and it can be quite useful to sort through all your pictures.
