More often than not we find ourselves trying the stupidest things to achieve so-called "relaxation," such as go to a crowded cinema, get together with friends and hit the city, or watch TV. Little do we know that these things only increase the level of noise that our brains have to fend off.
Zen themed
Enter Relax Melodies, a colorful zen-themed app that may not look like much at first but will surely enchant you when you start using it.
Upon launch, you’re presented with a simple guide on how to employ the app. When you dismiss the guide, you’re ready to pick your mood and hit play. There’s a huge selection of loops to choose from, and you can swipe between them like apps on your iPhone’s Home screen.
The layout is okay, but some things could deserve more spacing out to avoid hitting buttons or ads by accident.
Relax Melodies lets you select looped sounds and melodies that sound like the mood you’re after at a given time. The loops are extremely long and once you combine two or more you’ll never realize when they end and when they stop (a massive benefit).
You pick the ones you like, set their volume individually and combine them to create a mix. The mix is shareable, or you can set it as a favorite and listen to it again later.
The purpose is to use it when you’re trying to achieve better concentration, sleep better, for yoga practice, getting the baby to take a nap, etc. The possibilities are endless, and the sheer amount of loops available only in the free version makes this one a must-download.
You also get 2 binaural beats frequencies for brainwave entrainment, 4 brainwave beats including Binaural & Isochronic frequencies (some free, some paid), 8 off the shelf favorites for an easy startup, a timer system to set a duration to your favorite mixes as well as an alarm clock, and the iLBSoft blog for access to tips and articles from experts to help you understand and improve your health.
