National Geographic is such a great TV station and magazine that most people love it and get lost for hours upon hours by watching their shows or reading articles. So, when it comes to mobile apps connected to the name, it’s only natural that there’s an excitement over it.

Nat Geo View is a new app that provides a daily digest from National Geographic. In the app you’ll find plenty of cool content, including great pictures, stories and videos.

Easy as pie

The tool comes with a pretty intuitive interface. Frankly, it’s so easy to work that even a five year old could figure it out since there’s only one screen.

There are a handful of articles you can scroll through, which means that you will actually have time to go through everything rather than skip a lot of content. There are multiple categories the articles belong in, including the “photo of the day” one. You won’t just check out some amazing photos, but also be able to read a description about what you’re seeing to give you more context.

There are articles, news and interviews that you’re sure to enjoy, whether about the environment, tech or weird things in the world. The videos you’ll get to check out focus on science, travelling and various adventures into the wild. As with everything from National Geographic, they’re special and you will certainly love them all.

Swiping from left to right while viewing an article will allow you to go from one title to the next without having to go to the main screen.

Tapping on the hamburger button gives you access to more content. More specifically, you’ll be able to check out seven days’ worth of content. Choosing any of these will take you to the digest from that particular day.

So, if you missed out on any of the previous days, you can go back and check out the marvelous content from National Geographic. There is so much information that you’ll find fascinating and that will be at one finger tap away that you’ll certainly take on the opportunity.

All in all, the app is extremely easy to use, firstly thanks to the intuitive interface. However, the way the app is thought out – as a daily digest – makes things even easier since you aren’t flooded with too much content that you never have time to go through.
