Battery Life Pro - All-IN-1 1.4.3
Looks feature-packed
Battery Life Pro has a lot of densely-packed sections, but much of it is just for show. The UI has all kinds of gauges, speed-o-meters, and sub-menus that makes the app a bit of a mess. However, despite being cluttered it’s much more sincere than other battery apps.
It doesn’t really have all that many features when you do the breakdown. All it really has to offer is the usage estimate on each function relative to your current charge level, the charge log, and the usual battery-saving tips. The rest of it is just section after section of detailed information about things you probably already know. The only group of people that will be impressed by Battery Life Pro will be the non-savvy bunch.
Utilities
Despite not doing much to improve your battery life, this app really does pack a lot of monitoring utilities. Besides the charge monitor, it gives you an estimate on how much you’ll be able to use the device on 2G, 3G, 2D and 3D video games, web surfing, music, WiFi, etc.
The chip-themed tab at the bottom holds memory and CPU information, complete with a list of processes that are using up resources. The chart-themed tab offers a log where your charge cycles are recorded. Nothing will show up in there until you’ve completed at least one cycle with the app on.
Nifty themes
Another cool thing about Battery Life Pro is that it comes with a multitude of themes that you can select to give the app a fresh look every time. Best of all, this isn’t something that becomes available once you make an in-app purchase. In fact, all the features are on by default, and the $0.99 / €0.89 in-app purchase is for removing the ads. Which is pretty fair.
