Stellio Music Player 4.10
Fortunately, Google Play Store is filled with all sort of music apps that come with fresh or intricate interfaces, lots of controls and plugins. Stellio Music Player is a full featured music player that has surprisingly many features, but the down side is the fact that it's only available for free for a 10 day trial.
Lots of features, themes and much more
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or presentation, but it's filled with all sort of tips to help new users get a hang of it and make the most of its features. Right from the start it displays a message telling users that it's only available for a 10 day free trial, the paid version costs 1.59$, a small price considering how many features it offers.
It doesn't take long to scan your device, it retrieves all of your audio files and displays them in a playlist on your home screen. You can add whichever you like to a playlist or set the track as a ringtone on your device.
Listen to all of your songs
The side menu gives you instant access to all sort of features, you can sort your files by album, artists, genres or search through folders to find them. It comes with a 12 band equalizer and 13 music effects that you can do.
Frankly, there aren't many music players that offer so many features but maybe that's why it's not actually free. The app also has an equalizer and the option to sort files by all sort of criteria.
More features and tools
The settings menu is filled with all sort of changes that you can make to the app. It comes with some additional themes that you'll need to download from Google Play Store or the developer's website.
There are some plugins that you can use, one for connecting to Dropbox and streaming your music directly from there. Other than that, you can enable the crossfade so that the app makes a smooth transition of audio from one track to another and there's even the option to adjust the crossfade length.
Moreover, you can have it automatically download album art when missing and adjust the quality of downloading covers. You can add animation for when playing songs or use the power saving feature to limit battery consumption. As expected, the app has controls in the notification area and on the lock screen.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
It has a really nice interface, with themes that you can apply, animation and the option to fetch album art automatically. |
Function9
It works like a charm, doesn't lag and audio quality is really nice aside from the fact that it has lots of features and tools. |
Security9
It only needs access to areas of your phone that are connected to its features, so you don't need to worry about privacy issues. |
Battery7
Consumption might be high, but the good news is that it has a feature that lets you limit features and save resources. |
Price8
No ads but the app is only available for a 10 day trial afterwards you'll need to pay 1.59$ but it will be a single purchase. |
Compatibility8
The app should work on devices running Android version 4.0 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's one of the nicest music players that we've ever seen, too bad that it isn't free.
