Intuitive interface with a really nice design
The app launches with a presentation of its features and all the nice tools that you can use. The first thing that you need to do after launching the app is to create an account.
You can only sign in using your Google account, there's no option to use Facebook or an email address. Next, you'll need to write down a username so that friends can find you on the network.
The interface has a really nice design and it uses material design, but it doesn't have a side menu. Its layout is quite unusual, you'll need some time to get accustomed to it.
Check out various recordings
It opens with the discovery section that has lots of sections that you can check out. You can listen to recordings that other users have made and share them with friends on social networks.
There's also the option to sing to the songs that other users did. Scroll down to browse through a whole list of recordings. There's a section with the latest songs and recordings. The app won't allow users to comment on recordings or rate them with a star.
Record yourself and join competitions
The app lets you record all sort of songs and join competition to win against other users. The news section offers users the option to sign up for all sort of auditions, including American Idol. All that you need to do is to pick a song and start recording.
There are many contests that you can sign up for and each of them comes with a deadline. You can choose from multiple songs, all arranged into categories. There's even the option of filtering them by country or genre.
You'll need to plug in your headsets in order to make the sound quality better. However, not all audio tracks are free of charge, you'll need to pay for some of them with coins. It needs a settings menu to show users how they can acquire coins and purchase songs with them.
