Roundup v0.7
One of the applications is Roundup. It provides users with an extensive feed filled with all sort of articles on issues that interest you the most. It has a very stylish interface with lots of features at hand.
Beautiful UI with lots of tools
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or a presentation of features, but it does provide new users with all sort of tips for discovering how the app works. However, the interface might prove to be a bit confusing for new users since it doesn't have a side menu with quick access to sections, you'll need to navigate through the app by swiping the screen left or right.
It also has a settings menu that would help users make some changes to the UI and the app's functions. It comes in multiple languages, making it available to users from all over the world.
Customize your news feed
The app has a separate section in which you can pick news providers, but unfortunately there are only a few options and users can't add websites of their own. The home screen is quite nice, you'll need to scroll down through articles to pick the one that you're interested in. It displays the logo of the news provider, together with an estimation of how much time it would take you to read the article.
You have the option of bookmarking entries and reading them when you're offline, which is quite nice. There's also the option to share articles online, on social networks. In order to open an article, simply tap on the title or swipe the screen left.
More features
Website view is also available and the app may open links in the browser, if you think you could read them better in that way. You can enable notifications, so that you would know when new articles were added to the feed.
Notification frequency can be adjusted to meet your preferences. In addition, you have the option to customize the news feed with the black and white theme. The app provides a clean interface for users and it has the option to copy text or search for certain keywords inside the text.
Unfortunately, font size or style can't be changed. Still, the app doesn't load any ads and it lets users check out other sections on the news provider's website using the webpage view.
