Notebooks
One of such options is that for a notebook. Notebooks is a really nice app that lets you create lots of documents on your phone and back them up so you wouldn't lose the information. However, it could use some more tools and features to make it more appealing to users.
Sleek UI with plenty to offer
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since users always find tips beneficial especially when launching a new app.
Notebooks app doesn't come with a tutorial, it simply launches with shelves on its home screen so you can add your notebooks there. It doesn't require online registration or the need to create an account.
It also lacks material design or a side menu with quick access to sections. Still, it compensates with all sort of customization options for your notebooks and the app's UI, including an extra theme that you can apply.
Create all sort of notebooks
Simply tap on an icon to create notebooks on your phone, you can add a title and change the cover. Users have the option to pick from many cover styles made available inside the app. You can also change the page style and pick from lines or no lines.
The number of pages can also be adjusted, you can add as many pages as you wish. When you're done simply tap on save to add it to a shelf or use the overflow icon on the bottom right corner of the screen in order to access settings.
More features and tools
The app comes with the option of setting a password to protect the privacy of your data. It lets you add a hint so you would remember the password in case your forget it.
Make sure you don't forget the password, because the app doesn't come with the option of inputting your email address and receiving a hint. In fact, the app works mostly offline, you'll need internet connection only to backup information.
It connects with Google Drive or Dropbox for backing up information. However, attachments are not included to avoid multiple copies of the same file. Still, the app can sort files by various options, like title, date or cover. All in all, it's a nice app but it could use some more features and a nicer UI.
