My Sites - news reading 1.5.54
It's a very simplistic application, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It allows users to add the websites that they like the most and arrange them into various categories. It has lots of interesting tools and features that you can check out.
Sleek UI with plenty of tools
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since new users like to get some guidance when launching a new application. Still, the app sports a really intuitive interface with plenty of features at hand.
It doesn't require online registration, but you will need internet connection in order to access stories and the news. It doesn't come with material design or a side menu, access to its various features is made using the toolbars on the bottom and top of the screen.
Read stories from your favorite website
The first thing that you need to do after launching the app is to input the address of a website. It will be added on your home screen and the app will show you the number of new posts. You can add as many websites as you like and manage the list.
There's the option of enabling notifications only for certain websites and download the RSS feed. The app doesn't load images for articles and it only lets you read a small section of it. You can open the full article in your browser and favorite the stories that you would like to check out later.
Get suggestions of interesting websites
Other than that, it comes with a whole section of topics that you can check out. You can pick from tech, auto, home, entertainment, mass media, sports and many more. Tap on one icon to add websites to your home screen and get notifications of the latest added stories.
The settings menu lets you adjust the number of entries to keep and the text size. You can have the app download images only on WiFi connection or adjust the refresh rate. In addition, you can enable the feature that allows the app to download feed in the background only using WiFi internet connection.
