One of such applications is JotterPad. It's a nice app for writing down your thoughts, taking notes or starting your next novel. It's filled with all sort of nice tools that you can use and comes with a really intuitive interface.

Sleek UI with lots of tools at hand

The app launches with a tutorial, a presentation of all of its features for new users to get an idea of how the app works before actually launching it. The design of the app is quite surprising, it doesn't have that boring and cold UI design that some document editors have.

Instead, it's filled with all sort of beautiful and artistic pictures that make the app more appealing to users and set it aside from all the conventional writers. A side menu on the left gives you access to all sort of sections that you can find inside the app.

Create nice documents using this app

The app integrates with Dropbox so you can import or upload documents and edit them wherever you are. The app doesn't need internet connection, so you can easily write down text whenever you feel inspired without having to worry about internet connection.

All documents must have a heading, the app automatically counts the words that you've written in the editor. You can search for words inside the app and enable the night mode so that the screen brightness won't bother your eyes. It also comes with a feature that counts your paragraphs and characters. It also estimates how long it would take users to read the document.

More tools and features

The typography section lets you read documents easily by letting you change the reading mode. You can pick the essay, draft, newspaper or novel mode, each of them has a different text style and size.

You can sort items by various criteria and change the view mode. The app lets you access folders on your device and browse through files to import documents. You can also adjust folders on the home screen. You can export documents into various formats like docx, PDF and more.

There's also the option for the app to make snapshots of documents for backup and it has access to Thesaurus and Rhyme for checking your spelling. However, these features are only available if you make some in-app purchases.
