Google Play Store offers lots of solutions in case your lose your phone or it's stolen. One of such apps is Find My Android Phone!. It comes with all sort of tools for finding your phone in case you misplace it or it gets stolen.
Sleek UI that could use a tutorial
The first thing that you need to do when launching the app is to register with an account. You must provide your email address, phone number, name and pick a password to secure your account. The app can be used for locating multiple phones, including those of your family members.
That's why you'll need to select a profile picture after you've completed your account. The interface is really intuitive, with lots of features at hand and a side menu to access tools. It comes with a tutorial, showing new users how they can access various tools.
Lots of nice features
The home screen has a map of your location and a toolbar with quick access to features. You can invite friends and family in order to create a group inside the app. It finds your contacts in the phonebook and sends an invitation through email.
The app displays your location and it may even show whenever anyone from your family gets home. You can send messages to people in your circle, create grocery lists that you can share or set reminders to things that you don't want to forget.
More features and tools
The app lets you set multiple places and it shows you whenever family members or people in your circle reach them. In addition, you can decide with which users you share your location.
You can check in and the app sends lots of notifications that you can adjust. It has a panic icon, 10 seconds after you press it the app sends a call, email or text to anyone in your circle. It shows them your location alerting them that you may need help.
It can be used for locating your lost phone, all you need to do is to log in to www.life360.com using the same email or phone number and check your device's last known location on a map. It would have been nice if it had the feature to remotely delete data or to enable sounds.
