One of such apps is Antivirus & Mobile Security by Quick Heal Technologies. It's a nice antivirus app, but don't expect it to have that many features compared to the more popular phone protection apps.
Intuitive UI with lots of features at hand
The app launches directly with the home screen for registering the version on the market. You'll need to provide it with your fullname and mobile number. You must also enter your email address and a password to protect your account.
Users must also provide alternate phone numbers, in case your forget your password or the phone gets lost or stolen. It will send a SMS or notification to these numbers so that you can locate your phone. Next, you'll need to activate the app as your device manager and give it permission to perform all sort of things like erase data, set password rules or lock the screen.
Protect your device
The antivirus has a really nice interface and it uses animation to make it more appealing to users. It doesn't take long to scan your device, it displays the total scan time and files on the home screen. You can access features and settings under the side menu on the right of the screen.
In addition, it comes with a settings menu that helps users make some changes to the UI. It lets you block calls and messages, and it lets you view messages on the exception list. It has a section with your activity log and one that lets you manage threats found on your device.
Track your device in case of theft
The app lets you make quite a lot of changes to the app's UI and functions. You can adjust the period in which the app tracks your activity log, enable application statistics, news notification or manage your device through web.
You can also block the access to settings and make sure no one else changes them. You can have the app scan applications in the background, protect the app from being uninstalled or enable the feature that lets you capture images when someone tries to unlock your device and fails.
