Privacy Ace lets you lock access to your most important apps and denies access to whoever wants to access them. Simply set a Pin or password and no longer worry about other people reading your messages or posting on your account.
Easy-to-use UI with lots of features at hand
The app launches with a tutorial, showing new users all the neat things that you can do inside the app. It doesn't have material design, but it does come with a settings menu under the overflow icon on the top of the screen.
You can make all sort of changes to the app's UI and functions. Other than that, it guides you through all the steps for setting a pin, password or pattern in order to block access to certain applications.
The app uses animation and lots of options to make it more appealing to users. It has nice background pictures and an icon for randomly picking apps that you could install on your phone.
Lock access to your applications
Simply set a pin in order to lock access to your most sensitive applications. The app won't provide you with any hints, so make sure you don't forget the pin. It displays a whole list of apps saved on your device, simply tap on one to lock.
Other than that, it has a settings menu that you can access in order to make some changes to the app's functions. You can prevent the app from being uninstalled and change the password at any time from the settings menu.
More features
There's also the option to set a security question for enhanced protection. In addition, users could adjust the lock time after the screen turns off or you exit the app. The home screen also has access to another section, the one that displays access logs.
It shows you whenever someone tried to access locked apps. It would have been nice if it snapped a picture of that person or sent an email with the phone's location.
It could also use a feature that would let users hide the app's icon from the home screen. Moreover, it would have been nice if users could lock other information, like pictures or videos.
