The app launches with a tutorial, showing new users all the neat things that they can do inside the app. It needs users to register with an account before they continue, this is necessary for backing up information and tracing your phone in case of loss or theft.

It has all sort of neat tools that you can use and the app comes with animation to make it more appealing to users. It doesn't have a side menu but it displays icons to all sections on the home screen.

You'll find some settings under the overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen. Antivirus & Mobile Security comes with an app manager, that lets users uninstall the applications that they no longer need, but unfortunately it doesn't support batch selection.

The first thing that you need to do inside the app is to perform a full device scan. It might take a while since it doesn't let users adjust the intensity, so it would be best if you didn't any other apps in the meantime.

The antivirus scans all applications installed on your device and lets you know which one could pose a threat. It also has a system manager that lets users set a data limit and monitors how much apps take up. It displays some information on your battery, like how much it would last if you were to listen to music, place calls or watch videos.

More features and tools

It displays the total amount of memory used and lets you clean it by closing applications running in the background. It also scans applications installed on your SD card. It has a section that displays permissions acquired by apps and reports those that use more than they need.

It shows how many apps access your location, contacts or identity. Data can be backed up on your account and the app has a tools that ensures safe browsing on the internet. The app can also be of assistance in case your phone is lost or stolen.

You can enable enhanced wipe/lock features and prevent the app from being uninstalled by accident. It has a feature that displays a friendly message to whomever might find your phone and one that sends a SMS change notification.
