VSCO Cam is one of the most intuitive apps out there. It opens with a grid featuring the latest pictures uploaded by users. You have the option of setting up an account and thus becoming a member of the community, which would allow you to follow and discover new artists and their works.

The app allows you to browse through millions of pictures taken by artists worldwide. You can share images via social networking websites or view the location where they were taken. One of the unusual things about this platform is that likes or comments are absent, so that all pictures are promoted equally and only in accordance to their artistic value.

A community that promotes artists

Another great thing about VSCO is that it promotes artists from around the world. The journal section is filled with articles on interesting websites or shops, all related to photography or art in general. The section is also used for promoting artists, photographers and painters, featuring detailed descriptions of their works and links to their website. The app also comes with a shop section, where you can buy images featured on the platform.

Join the community of professional photographers

The app comes with the option of setting up a library. Simply take or picture or upload one from your gallery and you can start editing. VSCO Cam comes with all the usual features that such apps have and a few more.

You can select from various styles and themes and various editing tools, including highlights, tinted shadows, saturation and crop. The app also allows you to change the order of editing tools. Although it's a clever app, the latest changes made to a picture while editing aren't displayed, the app only shows you the original image for comparison.
